History
We are a group of female professionals from various disciplines with several years of experience in community development and gender inclusion, coming together to create a lasting ripple of impact in youth empowerment, with a deliberate 80% focus on females.
Our journey is a testament to our unwavering dedication to gender inclusion and youth empowerment. Our rich history, which began in early 2019, has been a source of inspiration and motivation as we prepare to implement transformative programs in 2024.
Our story began in early 2019 when a group of visionary female professionals, each with extensive experience in gender inclusion, came together with a shared vision. We were determined to create a lasting ripple effect in the world, focusing on empowering young people, with a special emphasis on young women. This was the spark that ignited our journey.
In mid-2019, we transitioned from discussions and research to concrete action.
We began recruiting professionals who shared our passion and embarked on comprehensive needs assessments. It was during this phase that our commitment to driving change took on a tangible form.
By 2020, FemAid360 had grown significantly, with over 30 dedicated professionals and volunteers joining our cause. Our collective strength and diversity of expertise allowed us to expand our reach and impact, turning our vision into reality.
In 2021, we shifted our focus towards capacity strengthening, advocacy, and mentorship. We recognized the importance of equipping young people with the skills, knowledge, and guidance they need to thrive. Mentorship and advocacy became integral to our organization’s DNA.
The year 2022 marked a pivotal moment as we actively sought strategic partnerships to amplify our efforts. We engaged in rigorous research, meticulous planning, and sourced partnerships that would help us make an even greater difference in the lives of young individuals.
In 2023, we meticulously designed programs for the first, second, and third quarters of 2024. These programs will focus on ICT for economic empowerment, quality healthcare, and mentorship, setting the stage for our beneficiaries to thrive.
As we look ahead to 2024, we are excited to implement these transformative programs and continue our journey of empowerment. Our history is a source of pride and inspiration, and it fuels our determination to create a world where gender equality and youth empowerment are not just ideals but tangible realities.
